Hello! My name is Chloe Pearce, and I am excited to serve as the Public Relations Chair this year! I am from Louisville, Kentucky, and I am currently a sophomore at Michigan State University studying Veterinary Nursing. My passion for veterinary medicine has grown through working with companion animals to gaining hands-on experience with livestock.

 

One of the most impactful experiences I have had was studying abroad in South Africa at a cheetah conservation center. There, I learned about wildlife rehabilitation, animal husbandry, conservation efforts, and the challenges facing exotic species. This experience strengthened my interest in both wildlife and veterinary medicine while pushing me outside of my comfort zone and allowing me to gain a broader perspective on animal care around the world.

 

Outside of academics, I enjoy spending time with animals, shopping, and tending to my many hobbies. I love meeting new people and learning from others who share a passion for animal health and welfare. I am excited to continue growing within the veterinary field while helping connect and engage our PVMA members throughout the year.
