Morgan

Hello! My name is Morgan and I am PVMA’s Social Chair this year! I am from Grand Rapids, Michigan and I am entering my third year at Michigan State University. I am majoring in psychology and minoring in cognitive science through the Honors College. My dream is to emphasize mental health within the veterinary profession! This summer I spent six weeks in South Africa participating in conservation internships! Since returning from South Africa, I have worked as a veterinary assistant at an equine practice and have taken three summer classes. Starting in the fall I will be an undergraduate research assistant at the MIR Lab in the psychology department. I have competitively shown horses and rabbits for ten years and I have started coaching younger riders within my 4-H club. I am also a volunteer at Mitten Misfits Farm Sanctuary and Equest Center for Therapeutic Riding!
