Hi, my name is Kate and I am your Community service chair this year! I am from Bay City, MI majoring in Animal Science and minoring in pharmacology/toxicology through Lyman Briggs and the Honors College as a junior. This summer I worked as a veterinary assistant at a small animal clinic on the coast of Lake Huron while dabbling in shadowing at a local 4-veterinarian animal hospital as well. I am also the treasurer of Spartan Service Dogs and an animal caretaker at Mitten Misfits Farm Sanctuary! Boating, camping, kayaking, and tubing on the water are my favorite things in the whole world– besides my two pets of course!
